PvZ Lawn Zombies: Every Zombie Type and Weakness

Zombies are puzzles with legs. Each type in the demo has a counter, and levels get easy the moment you match them.

The basic shambler

Slow, weak, dies to a single peashooter with time to spare. Its only threat is numbers. Never spend explosives on lone basics.

Conehead

The traffic cone doubles its effective health. Counter: double up shooters in its lane, or let a potato mine handle it. Snow peas buy the time your damage needs.

Buckethead

Triple health and slow. Peas alone take forever. Counter: repeaters, cherry bombs for clusters, or chomper if you can protect the chew time. Our shooter guide shows the math.

Pole vaulter

Jumps the first plant it meets, which makes single wall-nuts useless against it. Counter: two wall-nuts deep, or a potato mine behind the first nut. It cannot jump twice.

Screen door

The door absorbs frontal pea damage, stalling pea-only lanes. Counter: fume-shrooms spray through it, and chompers ignore it entirely. This is the zombie that teaches you to diversify damage.

Putting it together

Scout the wave preview, then build answers: doors mean fumes, vaulters mean double nuts, buckets mean burst. Our beginner builds already include these counters, and the chomper guide covers the riskiest answer of all.
