Peashooter vs Snow Pea vs Repeater in PvZ Lawn
Three shooters, three jobs. Picking the right one per lane is the difference between a comfortable win and a mower-burning scramble.
Peashooter: the honest baseline
Cheap, no frills, steady damage. It kills basics comfortably and softens everything else. When in doubt, peashooter. It is the yardstick the other two are measured against.
Snow Pea: control over damage
Slightly less damage per pea, but every hit chills. Slowed zombies spend more time in your kill zone, which multiplies the value of wall-nuts, potato mines, and every other shooter behind it. Against bucketheads and screen doors, the slow is worth more than raw damage. Essential in our control build.
Repeater: double down
Two peas per cycle, premium price. Best in a dedicated kill lane where you need maximum damage per tile, especially behind a snow pea's slow. Do not spam it everywhere; your economy cannot support repeaters in all five lanes.
The verdict
Early game: peashooters. Mid game: snow peas for control lanes, one repeater lane for damage. Late and night: snow peas plus fume-shrooms where doors appear. The zombie guide tells you which threat each answer handles, and the full roster covers the rest of the cast.
