PvZ Lawn Wall-Nut Bowling: How to Win the Minigame

Wall-nut bowling drops the economy entirely: no sun, no seed packets, just you, a lane of zombies, and an endless supply of rolling nuts. It is the demo's best breather, and it is very winnable once you learn the angles.

How it works

Drag to aim, release to roll. Nuts bounce off the lane edges and plow through zombies in their path. Red explosive nuts detonate for area damage. Zombies come in waves down five lanes; clear them all to win.

Aim for clusters, not singles

The beginner mistake is sniping the closest zombie. Wait half a beat for zombies to bunch up, then roll through the cluster for multi-kills. Bank shots off the walls reach back lanes that a straight roll cannot.

Save explosives for bucketheads

Regular nuts bounce off bucketheads too slowly. One explosive nut in a buckethead cluster does the work of four normal rolls. If a lane is about to break through, an explosive nut is also your emergency clear, faster than any three normal rolls.

It is practice for the real game

Bowling teaches lane priority and target selection, the same skills the conveyor-belt stage demands. And when the campaign resumes, our walkthrough and beginner builds pick up where the minigame leaves off.
