PvZ Lawn Night Levels: Gravestones and Mushroom Strategy
The three night levels are the demo's difficulty spike. The sky stops paying you, graves eat your tiles, and your day-game instincts will get you killed. Here is the night playbook.
Rule one: the economy changes
No sun falls from the sky at night. Your income is sun-shrooms, which start small and grow. Plant them on wave one, not wave three; every wave of delay compounds. Puff-shrooms cost nothing, so they hold the line while your economy matures.
Rule two: respect the gravestones
Graves occupy random tiles and spawn zombies. Do not plant around them forever: clear them when you can. Note the demo quirk: the shovel currently removes gravestones too, which the community treats as a happy accident. Our full walkthrough covers where each grave sits.
Rule three: fume-shrooms carry
Screen-door zombies shrug off peas, but fume-shrooms spray straight through doors and lines alike. A column of fume-shrooms behind a wall-nut is the night's most reliable lane. Snow peas still help: slowed zombies spend more time inside the fumes.
Night opening order
Sun-shroom, sun-shroom, puff-shroom, sun-shroom, then fume-shrooms as sun allows. By wave three you want two fume lanes and a growing shroom economy. Anything fancier is a luxury; this core holds all three night levels.
