PvZ Lawn Lawn Mowers: How the Last Defense Works

Five rows, five mowers, five second chances. The lawn mower is the demo's emergency brake: when a zombie reaches the end of a row, the mower launches and clears the entire lane. Then it is gone.

One per row, then nothing

Each mower works exactly once. After it fires, that row has no safety net left. A second breakthrough in the same row ends the level. Treat a spent mower as a flashing warning, not a relief.

What triggers it

Any zombie reaching the leftmost tile. It does not matter how much health it has left; the mower clears the whole row regardless. This makes mowers surprisingly good against bucketheads that outlasted your damage, and useless as a plan, because you cannot choose when they fire.

Never build around them

The classic trap: leaving a weak lane because 'the mower will handle it.' It handles it once. Real defense comes from the formations in our beginner builds. Think of mowers as insurance you hope never to claim.

When a mower fires, adapt

A spent mower means that row needs immediate reinforcement: replant defense there first, before spending anywhere else. Our level walkthrough flags the waves most likely to cost you a mower.
