Is PvZ Lawn Safe? Honest Safety Breakdown
Short version: the build hosted here tested clean. Long version: here is exactly what we checked, what we found, and the one caveat you should know about.
What we tested
We ran the v1.0.0 APK through our standard six-stage review: origin trace, malware scan, signature check, then install and play sessions on five real phones. No threats found. The file on our official PvZ Lawn download page is the build that passed.
Zero permissions, fully offline
The manifest declares no dangerous permissions: no contacts, no location, no storage, no network. The game runs fully offline, which means it has no channel to send your data anywhere. Our offline guide walks through what that means in practice.
The false positive, explained
One antivirus engine flags this package on third-party scanners. This happens to many Godot-built and sideloaded apps: heuristic engines dislike packed executables they have not seen before. The signature matches the developer release and every other engine reports clean. It is a false positive, not a finding.
The real risk: fake copies
The danger is not this file; it is the repacked 'mod' copies floating around with cheats grafted in. Those can carry anything. Our fake mod warning shows how to spot them. Rule: if it did not come from the developer's page or this verified mirror, do not install it.
Bottom line
For your phone: clean. For your data: nothing to take. For players under 18: this is an adult game, so the content rating is the real gate, not the file safety.
