PvZ Lawn 'App Not Installed': 7 Fixes That Work

'App not installed' is the most reported PvZ Lawn install problem, and it has a short list of real causes. Work through these in order; one of them is your answer.

1. Uninstall the older copy

The number one cause. If any previous PvZ Lawn build is on your phone, Android blocks the new install when signatures differ. Uninstall the old copy completely, then install fresh. Your demo progress will reset, but the install will succeed.

2. Check the file size

A 116.3 MB file that downloaded as 40 MB is a broken download, and Android rejects it. Re-download from our install guide and confirm the size before tapping.

3. Free up space

Android needs room beyond the file size to unpack and install. Clear 500 MB and retry. The requirements guide covers the full checklist.

4. Confirm you are 64-bit

This build is arm64 only. On a 32-bit phone the installer fails with a parse or not-installed error and no fix exists; the game simply cannot run there.

5. Grant install-unknown-apps

On Android 8 and newer the permission is per-app, not global. When you tap the APK, Android prompts you to allow your browser to install apps. If you dismissed it, find it in Settings, Apps, Special app access, Install unknown apps.

6. Redownload on stable WiFi

Mobile data drops corrupt large files silently. If two downloads both fail at random sizes, switch to WiFi and retry.

7. Restart and retry

The classic for a reason: a stuck package installer session clears on reboot. If nothing else worked, restart the phone and install immediately after boot.
